It’s hard working full time and pursuing the life of a musician. Honestly, I don’t know how people do it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Good news is, I’ve already broken even in CD sales! So thank you so, so very much, all of you who have supported me. I can hardly believe it’s gone so well so quickly. Y’all are wonderful.
It’s a new year, and so far I have celebrated by cutting a ton of my hair off, and eating way too much chocolate for my own good. So far so good. I’m also 3/4 done writing my next album, which I think will be entitled “Through Her Eyes”. All the lyrics are written by my dear friend Ruth Coleman, who has been kind enough to allow me to put music to her words. I’m very excited about this project. I’m hoping to involve a wider variety of instruments in the recording of this album, as well. So I’m thinking it’s going to take a while longer than the last one. So, no idea when it will all come together. Something to look forward to though!
Hilary, you are doing ‘marvellously well’, as I see it! All the best with your next CD!
Working and your passion for music can be a two=headed demon – hang in there with
it – God is with you (and with Ruth too!)!
blessings always,
Judith
